The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has declared its intent of lending a helping hand to the Buhari led Administration to overcome the challenges of insecurity and economic challenges that has bewildered the country.
PDP National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus made the disclosure while addressing a world press conference held in Abuja.
Secondus called for immediate up-scaling of personnel in the Nigerian Army uniform and proffer ways to the federal government to seek support from international countries in order to restore peace and stability in the country.
He further called on the federal government to immediately create state policing as it will contribute to the security of lives and property in states.
Some of the party chieftains including Governor Darius Ishaku of Taraba state, immediate past Senate President, Bukola Saraki and House Minority Leader Senator Eyinnaya Abaribe also stressed the need for the creation of state policing.
Following series of meetings in the last one week by various organs of PDP, these have been the suggested way forward for the APC led administration under the leadership of president Muhammad Buhari on how to tackle the ravage issue of insecurity in Nigeria
